The Sportsplex (formerly the Woodhaven Sports Centre) has been hosting indoor soccer since 1984.
We currently host indoor soccer leagues and tournaments. Our state-of-the-art three rink facility enables us to host larger tournaments and bigger leagues in various age divisions. Our facility includes professional sized, identical rinks with full dashers and glass all around, players benches and penalty box, large scoreboards, and comfortable spectator seating for more than 700 per rink.
The Sportsplex is heated and has a full service snack bar. Our facility is conveniently located outside northeast Philadelphia, minutes from I95 and exit 351 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
High School Indoor Soccer Leagues
The Sportsplex will be hosting a new season of our very successful high school leagues beginning this December. Space is limited, so please register early.
Who Qualifies?
- Varsity, Junior Varsity, Freshman, U14-U17 Club Travel and Intermural Teams
- We Split the teams into divisions by age and ability. Gold Silver and Bronze
Roster Size
- 18 players
- If you are going to carry a small roster please be ready to call some alternates to fill in in an emergency
- Players can play for mor than one team
- We do not keep standings and there are no playoffs, We just play games and try to keep it "light."
Game Length
- 2 Twenty- one minute periods, 5 players plus a goalie, 8 game season
Game Days
- We try to play most games on Sundays but this year, due to the holidays and State Indoor Cups, we will play some weeknight games and Saturdays
Registration fee
- $695.00 paid in full before the first game
- You must secure your spot with a credit card. We will not charge your card until the first game.
- Teams who are not paid in full will be replaced without warning. Please do not put us or your players in that position.
Practice Time
- Weekdays
3:30-5 pm, at a cost of $125 per session
5-6:30 pm, at a cost of $150 per session

- To register a team please fill out a registration form (see below) and fax or mail.
- If you fax the registration, include credit card information to hold your team spot.
- Payments can be made by check, cash, or credit card.

Youth League Information Winter 2006-2007
The Sportsplex is currently accepting team registrations for the following age divisions starting December 2005. Space is limited so please download an application or call with you fax number asap.
We will have divisions for U8 through U18 boys and girls and high school boys and girls (U14 thru U17). We may be adding other age divisions for leagues starting in Febuary.
Game Notes
- New Saturday games times - NO 4 pm or 5 pm weekday games
- U8 - U10 plays 7 plus a goalie with a size 4 ball
- U12 plays 6 plus a goalie with a size 4 ball, U13 and up plays 5 plus a goalie with a size 5 ball.
- Roster size is unlimited.
- Games are played on a flat safty court court which offers lateral forgivness, so sneakers or indoor soccer "flats" are best (no nubbies).
- Games are two 21-minute periods, usually one game per week with an 8-game season.
- The High School age league has 3 divisions (gold, silver, bronze) determined by a combination of age and competitive ability.
- Players are permitted to play for more than one team.
- There are no playoffs or standings for the high school division. The may be bye weeks if a large tournament is taking place (indoor cups).
- We will make every effort to make-up cancelled games due to inclement weather at the end of the season. For information on cancellations, calll 215-355-2582.
- We cannot reschedule games due to personal team reasons, so please have alternate players in place.
- Schedules will be posted on the web and available at the front entrance of The SportsPlex.
- Most games are played on Sundays but due to to holiday and tournament schedules, some games must be played on weeknights or Saturdays
Team Registraton Fee
- $695.00/team
- $25.00 discount for two or more teams in the same age division
- Ref Fees $15 per game per team
- All Fees Must be paid in full before the first game
- We encourage payment by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or American Express) prior to the season with a completed registration form.
- Teams not paid in full will be replaced without notice!
